Havertown Irish fest June 24

HAVERFORD » The inaugural Havertown Irish Festival from noon-9 p.m. Saturday, June 24. The day long outdoor festival celebrates the music, food, folklore, sports and way of life of Ireland. Fr. Kevin Gallagher, pastor of The festival takes place in the rear parking lot of Manoa Shopping Center. St. Denis Church, serves as the festival grand marshal.

The center stage features traditional and modern Irish music from the following performers: Runa; Galway Guild; The Scott McClatchy Band; John Byrne Band; Across The Pond; Dylan McGuire Band; Marissa Berry ~ Philadelphia Mary From Dungloe; Maura McKinney Mastro; Philadelphia Emerald Society Pipe Band.
