spot in the Delco League continues to be a see-saw battle between Aston Valley, Marple Newtown, Wayne and Narberth.

Aston Valley vaulted back into sole possession thanks to a power surge from Sam Farnell on Sunday. Farnell blasted two homers and drove in six runs as the Knights cruised to a 13-2 triumph over the Marple Newtown Black Sox.

The victory extended Aston Valley’s win streak to three games and marked the second time in five games that the Knights scored in double digits. Julian Kurych, Kendall Smith and Rob Caruso chipped in with three hits apiece, while Pat Graham fanned four in six innings to get the win.
