Haverford, Springfield restrictions
PennDOT announces travel restrictions are scheduled on Karakung Drive and Route 420 (Woodland Avenue) in Haverford and Springfield townships for
patching work. The work schedule is 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for the following:
• Monday, June 26-Wednesday, June 28, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Karakung Drive between Manoa Road and Haverford Avenue in Haverford Township
• Monday, June 26-Thursday, June 29, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 420 between Baltimore Pike and Route 320 (Sproul Road) in Springfield Township.

Eagles Road closures starting July
HAVERFORD » PECO is planning to close Eagle Road weekdays between Clover Lane and Merwood Lane from Monday, July 10, through early September between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays for gas main installation. During the closure, Eagle Road motorists will be directed to use Darby Road, Brookline Boulevard and Earlington Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.
Lancaster Ave. bridge work continues
RADNOR » The right lane is scheduled to close on eastbound and westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Route 320 (Spring Mill Road) and Ithan Avenue in from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, June 26-Thursday, June 29, for overhead pedestrian bridge construction.
The work is part of a $3.7 million local project to construct a new pedestrian bridge over U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) to connect Villanova University and the SEPTA platform. Once completed, Villanova University will own and maintain the new bridge. The entire project is expected to finish in December 2018.
Lenni, Newtown Square work continues
Motorists will encounter travel restrictions next week on state highways for high friction resurfacing operations. The work schedule is:
• Lane restrictions are scheduled on Lenni Road between Lungren Road and New Road in Aston Township from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, June 26-Wednesday, June 28.
• Lane restrictions are scheduled on Goshen Road between Crum Creek Lane and Echo Valley Lane in Newtown Township from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, June 26-Wednesday, June 28.
