SCARIEST DAY OF MY LIFE

I was reading the article in “Other Times” about the jet airplane that crashed at the tank farm in Aston. I was one of the six children down in the woods swimming in the creek. The seat of the airplane landed at Fisher’s Corner through a trailer roof, and the pilot landed in Linville Orchards in Middletown. It was the scariest thing that ever happened to me in my life but everybody survived, thank God.

DCMH NURSES DELIVER

I’d like to give you a shout out to the nurses on third floor at Delaware County Hospital. What a bunch of good people. They really helped me. We were so attended to and they were so professional. PUT THIS IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT

People are missing the point on this medical marijuana situation: It’s the next step in taxation. When you start tax soda you know you’re done. But they need more money – politicians need more money, schools need more money, we need more money. Let’s tax marijuana. It opens a new doors, new possibilities, new raises, new ways to create bigger government. People just don’t get it.

REMEMBER THE ROOTS

After “Johnny Come Lately” signed off “Lincoln/Hamlin ’60,” I had to look online, and sure enough, people, there are Lincoln/Hamlin campaign shirts. While my “Reagan/Bush ‘84” throwback T-shirt has done its job of getting a lot of dirty looks from crybaby leftists in public, it might be time to retire it and get a new shirt going back to the party’s roots. After all, with a loudmouth populist New York Democrat hijacking our party, we need to get back to what made us the Grand Old Party in the first place. “I LIKE IKE”

NO-CONSCIENCE GOP

So-called conservatives in the Senate don’t like the health care bill because it doesn’t go far enough to hurt the middle class and the poor, according to them. This is what the Republican Party has become today – people with no morals and no conscience. And yet there are a lot of people – poor and middle class – in this country that vote for these people time after time. The question must be asked: What is wrong with these voters?

TWO OF THE SAME

“Trump 2020” is a typical Trump supporter, meaning they’re an idiot. “Bob from Sharon Hill” was talking about the House bill, and everything in his Sound Off was true about the House bill. And it doesn’t matter what the Senate bill says anyway, because from what we seen of it it’s very, very similar to the House bill. They’re going to give the rich a lot of money and hurt the very poor in this country. But I’m sure “Trump 2020” has no problem with the rich getting more money and the poor getting less healthcare.

THOSE LOSER DEMS

After all of the childish name-calling from Democrats in Sound Off since the election, it was nice to read “Johnny Come Lately” throw a legit insult at Johnny Depp. And yes, sadly, too many Democrats today are acting like John Wilkes Booth – a loser who couldn’t handle it when things didn’t go his way. I think LBJ and Ted Kennedy did a lot of damage to this country, but at least they had backbone and honest conviction.

HE’S NO WINSTON

“Just Saying” says that Trump was told he looks like Winston Churchill when he scowls. Well, this possibly true if you really look at it. But he will never ever be one-one hundredth of the man that Winston Churchill was. WHEN MEN WERE MEN AND HAD BIG HANDS
