WEST GOSHEN » West Goshen Township Police Chief Joseph Gleason did not mince words in describing the man who shot 18-yearold Biana Roberson in a violence case of road rage. At a late Friday press conference Gleason released a composite sketch of the man wanted in connection with the shooting. He said the sandy-haired driver of red pickup truck “viciously murdered” the teen.

Gleason said that police and the District Attorney’s office have received hundreds of phone calls and hundreds of emails from tipsters concerning the shooting.

The chief said that 20 agents from the township and county detectives are “prioritizing” and “following up” on every lead.

Gleason said tips are surfacing from all over the country. Calls and emails have come from as far across the Northeast, and as far away as the southern U.S., western states and Texas. Charles Gaza, chief of staff at the Chester County District said the Attorney’s office, murder is attracting national attention because it is “indicative of a much larger problem.”

The bulk of law enforcement’s information has not changed, according to Gleason.

“This is going to down to assistance the public,” he said.

The chief said the family and public deserve answers.

The top cop said the composite was drawn with the assistance of someone riding in an adjacent vehicle. come from He said that the composite sketch is as accurate as the department was able to prepare and is probably 70 to 80 percent accurate.

“The suspect in the faded red pickup and Roberson “played a cat and mouse game” between two vehicles at 60 mph, for a quarter of a mile, Gleason said.

The southbound Route 100 Bypass is reduced to one lane before motorists merge with Route 202. At the crime scene, a second lane is passable but is striped.

“Both were trying to get into the same lane,” Gaza said.

Due likely to a high volume of traffic, the driver of the red pickup drove onto the shoulder until reaching the next exit at Paoli Pike.

Gaza also said that law enforcement doesn’t want to show its full hand or give too much information away.

Police are still investigating and were visible at the scene Friday.
