Dorothy J. Urbani

Dorothy J. Urbani, 83, left this world peacefully surrounded by her family on June 29, 2017 to join the Lord, and her eldest daughter, Bernadette; her parents, Ernest and Hazel Bryson; and nine of her 11 siblings.

Dorothy was born in Rosebud, MT and raised in Richland, WA. She spent most of her career raising her eight children and working as a counselor for special needs clients at Elwyn Institute located in Delaware County, PA. She most recently resided at the Pocopson Home of Chester County, PA.

She was smart, beautiful, and always smiling. She loved to be surrounded by her family and always opened her heart to those around her. A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she is survived by her children Maria Carson and husband George, of Quarryville, PA; Vincent and spouse Alex Contino, of Desert Hot Springs, CA; Dorothy Woerth, of Glenolden, PA; Cathy Imburgia and husband John, of Claymont, DE; Frances Cardinale and husband Scott Harrity, of Pottstown, PA; Domenic and wife Betty, of Chadds Ford, PA; and Guy and wife Lisa, of Aston, PA; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many more nieces and nephews.

While our hearts are heavy at this time, we know that you are smiling down on us.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, 1443 Telegraph Road, West Chester, PA 19380

Burial: Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall.

Visitation: Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 pm and Thursday from 8:459:45 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014.
