As pathetic as the Phillies baseball team is on the field, the only thing worse is their announcers. Mike Schmidt may be a Hall of Fame baseball player, but as an announcer he should be in the instructional league. Also, why did the networks got rid of Jon Kruk? Their best announcers are in the radio booth, Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen. If they can’t get on television, I’d rather listen to Pee-wee Herman, Carrot Top and Tiny Tim.

Regarding the caller who claims to be an independent and voted for Donald Trump, that is a misleading statement. True independents would not vote for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. They voted for either Gary Johnson of the Libertarians or Dr. Jill Stein of the Green Party. People who are independent and voted for Trump just don’t have the courage to actually join the Republican Party. ROSS PEROT

I went out looking for a car and I can’t believe the prices they want for all this plastic, rotten junk that they sell today. All you’re paying for this hightech junk that they put in the cars which I don’t want. I wish they would bring back the cars of the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s again, when you paid $1,000$2,000 and you had them for 30 years or more. They were running good and they had good air conditioning. When are the people going to wise up about getting real American cars again?
