Here’s how to ruin a vacation for a 10-year-old: Let’s rent a bike for the week for $50 and buy a lock, then two days after you go to buy ice cream you find the lock on the ground and the bike stolen. Who does that? Where is the adult in the scenario? You’re seeing your child riding a silver bike he didn’t rent; do something. Besides all the lying and cheating in today’s world, now we have young people stealing. Thanks for ruining his week at the shore. Mom had to pay $200 to replace the loss. CARTOON CHARACTER
“We Want Woody” complains about TV today after naming a bunch of low budget, middle-of-the-road cartoons. I like “Mighty Mouse” and “The Ruff & Reddy Show,” but I like ’50 and ‘60s cartoons in general. If that’s what you tell young people to watch as an example of old Saturday morning cartoons I don’t think you’re winning friends and influencing people. I’ve seen some great Division III football games in my life but if I was trying to get someone into college ball that’s not the first direction I’d point them in. BULLWINKLE J. MOOSE

I saw a quote in the paper from someone that stated that “Obamacare has death panels.” These are the kind of people that are Trump supporters. Their stupidity is overwhelming, and these are kind of people to say they don’t like being called stupid. Well, they don’t want to be called stupid don’t say idiotic things and people will call you stupid. When you say things like “Obamacare are death panels,” you were going to be called stupid because it’s a stupid thing to say.
TALK ABOUT DEPRESSION
I give “Old Depression Lady In Middletown” much credit for coming through the Depression, but the fact is that over the last 50 years Republicans have made it their mission in life to take away everything the middle class has earned for itself and giving it to the rich, and that is something worth getting upset about. We work hard for our money and we are tired of Republicans taking our hard-earned money and turning around and giving it to the top 2 percent in this country. This is a fact of life.

“Obama Apology Tour ’09-‘17” is another person that is so stupid they shouldn’t be allowed to vote. To say that they are proud of Trump making a fool of himself overseas bespeaks the ultimate stupidity.

When people in this country elected Ronald Reagan president, I said and was proven right that this is a poor choice for president, but he didn’t call them stupid. When George W. Bush was elected, I said again this is a poor choice for president and was once again proven right, but I did not call people stupid for doing it. I would like to make a strong political point: This country is so divided right now, and instead of keep digging on this on this so-called Russian collusion, let’s look at the serious threats we have in this country. We have people getting gunned down in the cities every day. We’ve got to get a health care bill through. We have to deal with North Korea. President Trump has done more for this country in six months than Obama did in eight years. There are a lot of things people don’t know because they don’t want to find out the true facts.
