Delco improvements begin
HARRISBURG » The Wolf administration announces today that construction is scheduled to begin Sunday, July 16, on an improvement project to repair and resurface 18 miles of state highway in Delaware County. Work on the entire project is expected to be completed in mid-November.
Beginning today, Sunday, July 16, through Thursday, July 20, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., lane restrictions are scheduled on Providence Road between Route 252 (Palmers Mill Road) and the Chester County line in Upper Providence and Edgmont townships, for milling.
Additional state highways scheduled for resurfacing under this contract include:
• Rogers Lane/Plush Mill Road/Wallingford Road between Turner Road and Baltimore Pike in Nether Providence and Springfield townships
• Brookhaven Road between Route 352 (Edgmont Avenue) and Route 252 (Providence Road) in Nether Providence Township and Rose Valley and Brookhaven boroughs
• Orange Street between Baltimore Avenue and Kirk Lane in Media Borough and Upper Providence Township
