DRUGS = DEATH

Drug dealing equals violence equals death. Some of our politicians say drug dealing isn’t a violent crime. So what were those murders in Bucks County? You can’t get much more violent than that. Wake up, politicians, wake up.

How can the American people let this health care ever pass? It’s against the working people and the poor people. It will be a disaster for us all, especially people that worked hard all their lives and didn’t make that much money. It’s ridiculous. It’s outrageous. It’s time to repeal Trump and his cronies.

To “Nothing Funny About It,” as a lifelong Delaware County Republican, I think all the Sound Offs from Democrats filled with childish name-calling, hateful rhetoric, etc. are great. It shows how far the left has fallen and how regressive they’ve become. It’s always nice to see a smug, pseudo-intellectual show their true colors.

NAMING NAMES

I have to hand it to the people in Morton who drafted that letter. They figured out to complain about getting the borough name in the Springfield School District name when the specter of paying for the new high school is hanging over everyone’s head and the board may reach their emotional breaking point and do it. I wonder if everyone in Parkside, Eddystone, Rose Valley, Rutledge, Chester Heights, Yeadon, East Lansdowne and anyone else who feels overshadowed by the large townships in their school district is taking notes. Oh, and how dare Interboro not foster an inclusive environment for Tinicum Township by calling it “Interboro.”

“What A Brat” wants to know what Republicans did to benefit anyone personally. I don’t know, maybe the deregulation and incentivizing of entrepreneurialship in the Reagan era giving us all of the consumer technology breakthroughs of the last 25 years? Do you really think would have got that from JFK’s idea that every bright young person should become a government bureaucrat?

WHAT A MOUTHFUL

I agree that it should become Springfield-Morton School District. I also believe that it’s time to give create a separate Ridley Park-Eddystone district, and instead of Ridley reverting back to the sterile Ridley Township School District name, it should be the Woodlyn-Milmont Park-Holmes-Folsom- Crum Lynne-Leiperville-Swarthmorewood-Secane-Leedom School District so that all of the neighborhoods of Ridley Township feel like they are being represented.

RED HANDED

“Bob From Broomall” says the Russia investigation is “just a red herring.” That is typical, clueless right-wing thinking because right-wingers don’t want the truth; they want everything to be just like they think it should be, and if it doesn’t go their way it has to be a lie.

THE FINAL STRAW

I’ve been a Daily Time subscriber for probably 2530 years or more, and I have never been more appalled than the article in last Sunday’s paper, “Pop star, lobbyist: The cast of Trump’s Russia connections.” That was appalling to me. You’re printing this nonsense instead of printing the truth about things that Obama/Clinton did. This is appalling to me and I am no longer a subscriber of your newspaper. Thank you.

TEARS OF SHAME

To “Delusion In ‘Boothwyn,’” a lot of Trump’s attacks on the media are stupid and have no base in reality, but so is your idea that the “fake news” thing is completely baseless. When you have multiple on-air personalities at multiple cable news channels crying on air during the election when they realized Hillary was going to lose, do you really think people aren’t going to question their credibility?

I saw a picture in the paper of the lemmings cheering and waving at Donald Trump and his viewing stand at the U.S. Women’s Open golf tournament. This is another shining example of the stupidity that is rampant in this country.
