You know what kills me? When they want to remake the great classic movies of the times. Now they remade “Dunkirk.” I still like the classic in black and white. God help us if they ever decide to remake “The Quiet Man” without John Wayne. That would be a mortal sin.

I’m glad Donald Trump visited Paris on Bastille Day. We owe a lot to the French people. They helped us win our independence from Britain in 1776. Locally, Gen. Lafayette fought alongside George Washington at the Battle of Brandywine – so Viva La France.

Here we have Donald Trump spouting off again about “American made,” “make American great again” and everything, meanwhile a list came out of 70 companies tied to him and his family that make their products overseas. So apparently there are two sets of rules: One for everybody else and one for Donald “Benedict Arnold” Trump. And for all of you people still supporting him, open your eyes and ears. It’s like Michael Bloomberg said at the Democratic National Convention, “I’m a New Yorker and I know a con when I see one.” Let’s hope Trump gets his act together and makes America great by bringing his jobs back to America. It’s about time you started writing about the public versus private schools athletics recruiting and the unfair playing field. I’ve been calling for the last 10 or 11 years about this never gets in the paper. Private schools are bringing in people from out of state – those kids shouldn’t be playing here. The public school kids have to go to school in their own neighborhood, so that’s where the private schools should be recruiting from – end of story.

So now Russia is back to Public Enemy No. 1 with the Democrats. Weren’t these the same people who joined Obama in laughing at Mitt Romney in 2012 when he called them our biggest geopolitical threat? More recently, didn’t a large percent of them vote for a guy in the primary who spent his honeymoon there back in the USSR days? JUST ASKING
