If nothing else, UDHL has been consistent during its run through the Babe Ruth 13U Middle Atlantic Regional Tournament in Somers Point, N.J.

All four games the District 1 and Pennsylvania state champions have played have been one-run affairs.

Sean Webb slugged a two-run, walk-off double in the bottom of the seventh inning that sent UDHL into the semifinals with a 6-5 come-from-behind victory over Eastern New York champ Clifton Park.

UDHL scored five times in the bottom of the seventh inning to erase a 5-1 deficit and set up a meeting with the host team, Atlantic Shore, in Saturday’s semifinals. Game time is 3 p.m. Atlantic Shore whipped Prince Georges County, Md., 16-0, to remain undefeated. Atlantic Shore has outscored its four opponents, 43-4.

The second semifinal features two more New Jersey teams, undefeated Washingtown Township and once-beaten Cranford. Washington Township blanked Frederick, Md., 100, while Cranford topped Jamestown, N.Y., 4-3.

Dan Sullivan and Kirby Rich also drove in runs for UDHL in the seventh inning. Paul Morgan threw two shutout innings in relief of Sullivan to get the win.
