I’m with “Hey Tom, Get It Right!” I think Tom McCarthy should go and those other guys they have need to stay on the game. I watched a game the other night and all they talked about was everything else. Get them to get back to the game.
LISTEN UP
I think “The Donald” is learning two things: One, people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Two, it’s a lot easier to throw those stones than it is to catch them.
TRY MAKING SENSE
“Step Up” says to get a college education to make more money: Look, there’s nothing wrong with flipping burgers and it’s not a way to step up. If it wasn’t for the burger flippers, you wouldn’t have fast food so that rich people – who I call cheap – can eat. And most of all, get a good college common-sense education, which a lot of intellectual idiot people don’t have. You ever looked at America? We have all these college people running at and look how messed up it. We should start the open colleges for common sense.
GET WHAT YOU’RE PAID FOR
Anyone else think it’s funny that professional football players didn’t worry about their brains when they were making the millions knowing there was a risk? You know going in that it’s a dangerous job with a short window of time to play at that level. That’s why you’re making millions of dollars.
WHY WE’RE DOOMED
I agree 100 percent with “Just Saying In Aston.” Donald “Benedict Arnold” Trump is the worst thing that happened in this world. God help us.
BRING BACK ‘ELVIS’
I agree with the other Sound Off readers about bringing “Elvis & Friends” back. We miss that show every Sunday morning. “Rockin’ Ron” Cade made it awesome. So please, WOGL, bring it back.
MATT SCORES A HIT
I’d like to give a shout out to Matthew DeGeorge, who did an excellent job on his series exposing the current ineffective PIAA system. Recruiting schools should have a separate playoff bracket. Pennsylvania needs to look into New Jersey system where they have a public school champion and a recruiting school champion.
KATO, IS IT YOU?
I laughed at first when the caller talking about O.J. signed off “Kato From So. Cal.,” but do we know if Kato has any ties to the area? He doesn’t have a lot going on; what’s to say he’s not calling Sound Off?
PRESIDENT PATHOS
I see Donald Trump had another rally in Youngstown, Ohio. How pathetic is it that a sitting president six months in has to have a rally to have people cheer him and give him adulation? And, of course, the lemmings will be out there in full force showing their total lack of intelligence and their total lack of class.
NO TURNING BACK
To “Butts And Booze,” the thing is alcohol and tobacco are already legal, and once the government legalizes something there’s no turning back. Just like they’re doing now with drugs – they’re legalizing medical marijuana, and the push is for recreational marijuana. They can make tax money on it. They don’t care who it effects in the long run — men, women or children. They’re making their tax money so they don’t use their brains when it comes to hurting the people.
LIKE NO OTHER
No other sitting president in the history of the country has had a campaign-style rally after they were elected. Donald Trump has had several and none of his supporters seem to find this unusual or strange in anyway. That says a lot about these people.
A SHOW OF ARROGANCE
Although there was a consensus within the government that the Iran nuclear deal is a good deal and should be recertified, Donald Trump supposedly doesn’t buy it. Here’s other example of Donald Trump’s total lack of qualifications to be president. People who know what is going on say it should be recertified, but Trump thinks he knows more than these people. That’s because he’s arrogant.
