Steve Marko, age 84, a resident of the Milmont Park section of Ridley Township and a former resident of Philadelph­ia, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2017, at Riddle Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.

Born in Philadelph­ia, he was the son of Stephan and Helen Marko.

Steve was employed as an operation supervisor at Berm Studios, Inc. in Yeadon for 30 years until his retirement. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Steve was a member of St. Patrick’s Chapel in Ardmore. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time and loved to travel. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchild­ren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; his sons, Stephen and his wife, Becky, and David and his wife, Barbara; and his grandchild­ren, Daniel, Alex, Jonathan, Christophe­r and Annabelle.

His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 12 in the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, in Norwood, PA 19074. There will be a time for visitation from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, August 12 at the funeral home. His burial will be in Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pa.
