WHAT’S THE DEAL?

When the totally blacked-out windows on all four panes become legal in Pennsylvania? I’ve seen an awful lot of them around. Could someone give us the true story on this or do I need to call the police? KNOW WHO’S IN THE CAR

WATCH OUT

I got one of those calls this week, those so-called final notice calls from the IRS about a lawsuit and how they have an arrest warrant out for me. The IRS contacts you by mail, and even if they did call people I’m a senior citizen who has done nothing wrong. I just wanted to warn my fellow readers that if you get one of these calls, it’s a scam.

HOW ABOUT HOOVER

These angry populist Democrats like “Keep On Winning!” are really grasping at straws if they’re badmouthing Herbert Hoover – probably one of the most liberal Republican presidents, by the way.

LET’S TALK ABOUT CREDIBILITY

The mainstream media, including respected outlets like the New York Times and NBC, have completely lost their credibility in their overhyped microscoping of Trump’s every move. Every administration’s transition has a mind-boggling “changing of the guard” wherein some holdovers are fired or resign and political favors are paid back in essentially vacuous slots such as ambassadorships, etc. The press is too pompous to accept that its female hero did not win. Their sour grapes evaluation of Trump only emboldens his base with proof of their prejudice and expresses their un-American disrespecting of the American elective process. DELCO DAD

PAY UP

I agree with “‘Step Up’ Is Clueless” about this Republican guy. These Republicans talk out of their tin cans like always. They have done nothing for the working people and the poor people. And the people flipping burgers should make $15-$20 an hour. The people that own this hamburger joints – I call them poison joints – make millions and millions of dollars off the stiffs that they use as people to work for them for $7.25 an hour. It’s a disgrace.

FIRST WORLD SOLUTIONS

To “First World Problems,” if you’re paying $200 a month for cable I would assume you have some sports channels other than ESPN and ESPN2. And it’s the middle of summer. What alternative is there to baseball other than soccer?

THAT’S A STRETCH

I recently experienced some cable problems with my TV. So I called my provider, who also supervises my telephone service. I’m going down to play the Powerball and the Mega Millions today, because you know what? I actually got two people in America – one in Maryland and one in Delaware. They’re actually didn’t outsource their tech services. Maybe Mr. Trump is actually doing some right.

NOTHING TO SEE HERE

Well, that standard-procedure Russia grand jury empaneling came out of nowhere on the news this week. It’s almost as if the issue had dropped off the radar and the media once again has to blow every little thing. Maybe next week we’ll find out Mueller has members of the team reading documents pertinent to the investigation – cue dramatic orchestra hit.

FLIP OUT

“’Step Up’ Is Clueless” makes a clueless observation about multi-billion dollar corporations, saying that people should get paid a decent wage for flipping burgers because they’re working for multi-billion dollar corporations. They should be paid what their work for flipping burgers. The fact that they’re working for multi-billion dollar corporations is none of this caller’s business, my business or anyone else’s business.

TIME FOR IMPEACHMENT

I can’t believe Trump and the government are getting away with this. The government is a cross between a circus and a zoo. When are they going to impeach Trump and Pence? They need to get them out of there and put the Democrats in the run this country right. It is a disgrace.

I’ve never seen the Democrats ever have anything like this done, but yet it’s OK for the Republicans. Somebody’s paying off somebody. It’s a disgrace.
