Nina Horsky, 93, of Coatesvill­e, PA, formerly of Milmont Park, PA, peacefully passed away at Neighborho­od Hospice, on Friday, August 4, 2017.

Nina was born and raised in Weirton, WV. A graduate of Duquesne University, and sorority member, she earned her degree and worked as a pharmacist. Nina was one of the honorees attending her 50th Class Reunion speaking to the crowd as an early alumni.

Nina was a co-founder and lifetime member of St Stephens Orthodox Catholic Cathedral. Nina also served as a member and past president of the PCOM Women’s Auxiliary and as a member of the Federated Russian Orthodox Club. She was recognized by the Delaware County Voters Registrati­on as a continuous, 50 year plus, voter within the county.

Nina was previously a member of the Ridley Women’s Bowling League. Her other activities included playing canasta and scrabble and shopping - she was ‘Born to Shop’.

Nina was devoted to her faith, family and home. Nina was predecease­d by her son Nicholas, Jr (1959) and the love of her life husband Nicholas (2013). Mother of Genie (Bob) Horsky, Timothy Horsky and Lydia (Greg) Kuzmenchuk. Grandmothe­r of Kira, Nicholas and Gregory Kuzmenchuk and Timothy, Jr, Sarah and Rebekah Horsky. Also survived by sister, Tatiana Fedec, and sister-in-law, Helen Karel, and many neices, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, 8:30 am, at St. Stephens Orthodox Catholic Cathedral, 8598 Verree Road, Philadelph­ia, PA 19115, with funeral service to follow at 10 am.

Interment Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
