John R. Gallagher

John R. Gallagher, 50 of Ridley Twp., Morton, PA, died suddenly Wednesday August 02,2017 in his home Born in Philadelphia, PA, John lived in Morton for the past 43 years.

He was a Bindery Operator for many years and most recently was attending school to be a Dog Trainer. Affectionately known as “Frog”, he was was a graduate of Ridley High School, where he was a proud member of the football comradery. He bled green and would proudly say while he played, he never lost a game. John was full of life and enjoyed being around people. He had a way of making you laugh and if you needed him, he was there. He loved the outdoors and would fish and go camping whenever he could. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, friend and soon to be spouse; a beautiful soul that will truly be missed by many.

Survived by Fiance, Terri SmaleSeveria, his Father Robert (Sandra) Gallagher and his mother Inta (nee Konoporis) Snow, his grandmother Vera Kurbis, who currently resides in Latvia, his siblings: Brian M Gallagher, Mark Shipley, Todd Shipley, Scott Shipley and Jillian Shipley and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Saturday August 12,2017 from 9-11am at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service, 202 S. Chester Pk, Glenolden, PA.

John will be cremated; therefore Funeral service and burial private.
