- BILL FROM BOOTHWYN CONCERNED RESIDENT BLAST FROM THE PAST TRUMP 2020

YOU MADE OUR DAY

Many thanks to the gentleman at the Folcroft Diner on a rainy Monday. Five of us were there and he paid for our meal. What a great guy. Thank you; it was so super.

CHECK THOSE CHARITIES

It’s about time someone checked these charities. Where does all that money go? They should be made to accounts for how they spend. I get at least five letters or phone calls a week asking for a donation. Thank you.

ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENTS

To “What A Disgrace,” I was recently on a tour of the White House and I wouldn’t call it a dump, but I saw many improvements that could be made, and that’s with Donald Trump is doing. With all the people, both American and foreign, who go in there it should be spotless and beautiful, and it wasn’t. Plus, they should go over to the Lincoln Memorial and look at the pond in front of it. It’s such a dirty mess from all the geese and ducks that are in there. You have to watch where you walk; it’s really a disgrace. That’s the real dump over there.

LIFE’S AN ITCH

Since my borough’s highway department doesn’t cut grass or pick up leaves or clean the drains, can they come around and spray for fleas with all the rain? I have fleas and I don’t have any animals. Isn’t that’s something? They should start cutting grass where they’re supposed to you, because I don’t feel like doing their job. And can I neighbors do their part, too, like not leaving trash from McDonald’s in the street?

FLIP OUT

I’m in my 80s and I have never seen so many big trucks over turned. We had another one on Thursday. What is going on? Are they not making them right or is it the drivers? They are all turning over.

THE RIGHT STUFF

Headline in the Times states that “U.S. scientists contradict Trump’s climate claims,” and of course Trump supporters are going to say that the scientists are wrong and Trump is right. Because even though the scientists know about climate change and Trump knows nothing about anything, according to them Trump is right about everything.

BLAME THE INSURERS

I agree with the caller who complained about the health insurance companies. The reason that there are all these problems with the Affordable Care Act and any changes to it has to do with the health insurance companies. They have the power to raise the rates and to drop out and that’s exactly what they do. They should be required to stick to rules. The state regulators should be more attentive to denying rate hikes, and then the changes to any health care legislation would be able to proceed.

GET WHEEL

Booths Corner had a really nice classic car show. I love classic cars. Like anything else classic, they are the best. This plastic, high-tech junk today will never last 50 or 60 years like the real American cars from back then.

LEFT TO ITS OWN DEVICES

“Mr. Tom In Linwood” alluded to something that the left can’t seem to grasp. When Al Gore raised his net worth to the $200 million mark while flying around the world in private jets for speaking engagements and film production on climate change, people are going to ask questions. When public research universities and think tanks get huge grants from the federal government and U.N.tied organizations for climate change research, people ask questions. It’s scary how the left has a meltdown over the existence of “climate change deniers” when they have created an industry dedicated to advancing their climate change viewpoint, one that more resembles a mafia protection racket than scientific inquiry.

NAMING NAMES

For “Just Saying In Aston,” you’re just another liberal Democrat that can’t get over that your Hillary lost the election. All you know how to do is call people names. What a shame.
