Christine M. Possenti

Christine M. Possenti died suddenly on Aug. 11, 2017 of Aston.

Christine was a registered nurse. Graduate of West Catholic High School and Misericordia Nursing School. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, traveling with her sisters and brotherin-law. Visits to her friends in Florida and Maryland. She will be greatly missed by her five sons. Christine was kind, sweet, caring and thoughtful. She was quick to lend an ear and put a smile on your face after a conversation. She played a dual role as a father/mother in her last nine years after her husband passed and was the rock of the Possenti family.

Wife of the late Joseph P. Possenti, Sr. and daughter of the late Edward & Clara Cavanaugh.

Survivors: Loving & devoted mother of Joseph (Sarah Anello) Christopher, Timothy (Lauren), Michael (Kelly Stein), Mark (Nicole) Possenti. Also survived by her former daughters-inlaw Catherine Possenti and Angela Schneider. Loving Mom-Mom to her grandchildren Timothy, Kay, Payton, Nicholas, Ava, Julia, Sophia, Giana, Lucas, Mikey and Vinnie. Sister of Marie (Edward) Detterline, Edward Cavanaugh and Jane Meredith Cavanaugh.
