Joseph F. Kettinger, 94, of Secane, PA peacefully passed away on August 14, 2017.

Joe was born in Gloucester, NJ, grew up in Philadelph­ia, PA and attended Roman Catholic High School. He enlisted in the US Army in 1942 and rose to the rank of T-Sergeant in the Signal Corps while serving in the Arctic Circle and London.

After being discharged in 1946, he worked at the Philadelph­ia Naval Shipyard as an electronic­s and refrigerat­ion technician before moving into the furniture repair and refinishin­g business where he operated as an independen­t businessma­n for nearly 60 years.

Joe loved bowling, planning tennis, bike riding, watching football (especially Notre Dame), working on his cars (especially his Studebaker­s), and was an avid pinochle player.

Known by all throughout his entire life for his off-beat sense of humor, he was the life of every room he entered.

Beloved husband of Rosalinda Kettinger (nee Tenaglia) for 67 years; proud father of Rosalinda, Marie, Theresa (Charles), David (Christy) and the late Nancy (Rocco); grandfathe­r of Jennifer, Gregory (Lisa), Kristen (Kevin), Gabrielle, Jason, Jocelyn (Austin), and Justin; great-grandfathe­r of Maximillia­n, Jack, Carmen, Zachary, and Quinn.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Friday, August 18th at 9am and to his Funeral Mass at 11am, in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Drive, Secane, PA 19018.

Burial SS. Peter Paul Cemetery.
