Eleanor B. Wallace

Eleanor B. “El” Wallace (nee Reaney), loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully Friday, August 11, 2017 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.

Eleanor was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Collingdale. She enjoyed time with family & friends, reading the newspaper horoscopes, listening to music, dancing, visiting the shore, playing the casino slots, baking delicious Christmas cookies, and consuming all types of yummy sweet treats while drinking coffee.

She was the loving wife of William G. Wallace, Jr. who preceded her in death in 1991. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Matthew, Thomas, John, Joseph, and sisters, Anna, Mary, and Jane.

Eleanor was the loving and generous mother of six children, Trudy (Gary) Lombardo, William, III (the late Maria/Mary), Kevin (Grace), Mark (Susan), Mary, and Dwayne. She was the proud and kind “Mom Mom” to nine grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew, William, Timothy, Samuel, Kevin Joseph, Ryan, Kaitlyn, and Nicholas. Also survived by her dear sister, Gertrude Reaney, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave., Collingdale, PA. There will be a viewing after 9:00 a.m. in the church.

Internment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
