George R. Naylor
George R. Naylor age 90 of Glenolden passed away on August 24, 2017.
Mr. Naylor was born and raised in Philadelphia. He graduated from John Bartram High School in June 1944 and immediately joined the US Navy at age 17. Seeing service at Norfolk Naval Air Station in Flight Operations and as an Air Crewman on a PV2 Ventura Patrol Bomber from Panama. He received an Honorable Discharge in late 1947.
George attended Columbia Institute of Technology, Temple University and the American Institute of Banking. He was employed at City National Bank of Philadelphia. He sailed for one year with the Merchant Marines. He then worked for Piasecki Helicopter Corp. in Flight Test division for four years. George also worked for Prudential Insurance Co. as an Insurance Agent for eleven years and with the Internal Revenue Service for twenty years as a Commissioned Revenue Officer.
Mr. Naylor was a Mason and a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Glenolden. There he served as a Deacon and an Elder.
He enjoyed running middle distance and long distance for 28 years with the Delco Road Runners and the Philadelphia Masters Track and Field. He also enjoyed reading and traveling abroad with Therese (Terri) his late wife of 61 years.
He is survived by his four children, Carolanne (Brad) Wegman, George (Karen) Naylor, David Naylor and Marian Naylor; Grandchildren, Lisa Wegman, Tim (Jaime) Naylor, Eric (Jen) Wegman and Jill Naylor; Great Grandson, Nicholas R. Wegman.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at the McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden. Burial will be Private. Memorial contributions may be made in George’s name to the Glenolden Police Department, 38 Boon Ave., Glenolden, PA 19036

Mary T. Koskinen (nee Haigh), age 86, of Broomall, formerly of Lansdowne, on August 24, 2017.
Predeceased by her beloved son, William J., she is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, William A.: her loving children; George P., James M. (Mary Ann), Maureen R. Lowry (Robert), David J. (Luanne), Helen M. Perretta (Harry) and Virginia W. Tanner; 11 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Sunday evening, 5-8 PM, at the Danjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008 and Monday morning, 10-10:45 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, 19026. Funeral Mass 11 AM. Interment Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
