creatively, and to improvise and react to new situations.
YPTW is entering its 40th year of teaching young people the theatre arts. It opened its doors in 1978 with the goal of teaching the whole child in a safe and nurturing atmosphere. This goal remains the same today. YPTW will commemorate that event with a major production of the musical “Hello, Dolly!” in June 2018.
In order for students to participate in the spring musical, they must enroll in a class during the school year. The first set of classes begin on Sept. 9 and run for eight weeks. This will be a special year to celebrate YPTW’s birthday.
