Angie (Nan) Schweizer was born in Glenolden, Pennsylvan­ia on October 3, 1923. She was the daughter of Francis and Susan Martin.

Nan served in WWII as a Naval Intelligen­ce officer in Washington D.C. She was just recently honored in 2015 with an honor flight where her name was added to the Women’s Memorial in Arlington Virginia. Following the war she worked as a secretary for many years, but her greatest pleasure was spending time with her husband Edward Schweizer and family.

Angie is predecease­d by her husband Edward; brothers Joseph (Lillian), Francis (Mary), son, ED (Linda). Survivors include, daughters, Sue (Bill) and Theresa (Albert); “baby” brother, Jack Martin (Peggie); eight grandchild­ren, three great grandchild­ren, and one loving niece.

Angie is survived by her love for her many friends who she proudly called “her family” she was everyones “Nan”.

A gathering of friends will be held at St. Kevins Church, 200 W Sproul Rd, Springfiel­d, PA 19064 Thursday, August 31st at 10 am with a service to follow at 11 am. The family asks in Lieu of flowers please make donations to Suncoast Hospice in care of the Bronze Team at Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760 or to St. Kevins church in Pennsylvan­ia.
