Andrew “Andy” James Mozol, Jr., age 70, of Eddystone, PA, peacefully crossed over into the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 1, 2017, following a corageous fiveyear battle with ALS. He was born on October 13, 1946 in Chester, PA.

Andy grew up in Eddystone, PA and graduated from Eddystone High School. After graduation, Andy went on to serve two consecutiv­e tours in Vietnam as a Marine Sergeant. His bravery in the Vietnam War earned him many medals, citations and commendati­ons. After proudly serving his country, Andy worked at U.S. Airways in Philadelph­ia, PA for more than 30 years. Andy was a devout Christian and active member of the Woodlyn Baptist Church in Woodlyn, PA. With his faith in the Lord and mentoring of so many in his family and Christian community, Andy was a pillar among all who were blessed to be in his presence and share in his faith. Andy enjoyed studying the Bible, woodworkin­g, taking daytrips upstate, boating on the Delaware River and spending time with his church and family.

He leaves his beloved wife of 27 years, Nancy Ann, his sons Darren, Bryon and Brad Mozol, daughters Tara Bremner (Craig) and Lacey Mozol, stepdaught­ers Joanne Mazza (Erik Estrada), Michelle Peck (Tim Patterson) and Nancy Schmidt (John), sister Sharyn Dooley (Tom), 11 grandchild­ren, one great-grandchild and his former wife and mother of his children, Diana Schreffler. Andy was preceded in death by his parents Margaret nee Dillon and Andrew J. Mozol, Sr., his son Adam Mozol and best boyhood pal, his black lab Lucky.

A celebratio­n of life memorial service will be held on September 16, 2017 at 11am at Woodlyn Baptist Church, 1125 MacDade Blvd, Woodlyn, PA 19094. Visitation from 10 am until 11am.
