RADNOR » Additional racist graffiti at Cabrini University were found in the wake of a disturbing incident at a dorm, the university released in a statement on Tuesday.

“We continue to work with Radnor Police Department on collecting evidence as we work to identify this person, or persons, who so blatantly go against everything we are as a diverse institution,” the release said.

Over the weekend, a Cabrini student discovered the words “Go away n----” written on her door in black Sharpie, and the university promised a swift response. Students on Monday were defiant to the messages of hate, and rallied around the student, posting messages of positivity outside of her dorm room in East Hall.

However, on Tuesday additional messages were discovered.

“We’ve increased security on campus and will continue to do everything we can to identify the perpetrator(s),” Cabrini’s statement continues. “We are holding campuswide town halls and forums for students to update them and answer questions about these incidents and next steps.”

Tuesday night, members of the Black Student Union held a meeting in order to address the next steps in facing the aggressive racial intimidation that has surfaced at Cabrini.

CBS reported that the university removed the slurs before police could take pictures.

Cabrini’s statement concluded: “We know that the Cabrini community is stronger than this. We saw our students rally this weekend and again last night, fighting hate with love and support that brought such pride and respect to this institution and the students who make us special.

“Our community will continue to support each other to drive out hate with love and friendship.”
