I wish Donald Trump would keep his big mouth shut. First his rant to North Korea; now bellowing about the NFL and the national anthem. He should stay in the White House and tend to our country’s needs. Instead, he is trotting here and there, as if he is campaigning, or golfing at his place in New Jersey. He states that this is a “working” vacation. This man is a disgrace to our country.
MURPHY’S LAW
It was a pleasure to hear Greg Murphy doing the Phillies game on TV this weekend. His presentation was easy to listen to; not a bunch of needless talk after every pitch. Comcast has had enough time to realize that Tom “Talk Too Much” McCarthy should be promoted somewhere else – or continue with stale broadcasting. PHILLIES FAN

To “Delco Dad,” you wish the legislators would stand up to the teachers union and disallow strikes – you’re kidding, right? The only thing the legislators do in this state is make promises that are never kept, sit back and collect a paycheck for doing absolutely nothing. Next election comes around and you get the same promises just to get your vote. All I can say is don’t hold your breath. SHOW THEM THE DOOR
PLASTIC FANTASTIC
To the caller talking how new cars are safer: What is really disheartening with new cars is no matter how hard you try to keep the outside nice, the sun just does a job on the plastic. At least metal was a product you could keep shining years later. Not everyone can afford a new car every couple of years. The plastic has nothing to do with the safety of a new car.
BOTTOM LINE
“God Bless Sound Off” is apparently another complete idiot that doesn’t read any Sound Off that they don’t agree with, because the fact is school board members have to raise property taxes for their districts because Republicans – that this caller votes for – in Washington and at the state level keep cutting education funding.

I see they’re putting on another stupid TV show, this “Young Sheldon.” It makes our kids out to be intellectual idiots and fools that don’t even know what a snow shovel is or a rake is to rake leaves. It’s ridiculous how our kids are being brainwashed to be intellectual idiots in this world. My family will stick to be watching “Leave It to Beaver” when Beaver got his knees skinned and his hands dirty like a real boy.

I would love to see the people in this country take away Lindsey Graham and Mr. Cassidy’s health insurance plan. I really would like to see this and let them see what it’s like when you don’t have much coverage. It’s a disgrace. VOTE DEMOCRAT

Given that every Sound Off I’ve from “Mr. T” sounds angry, I have a suggestion about his anger over people parking in handicap spaces with handicap plates: Make sure they don’t have a temporary placard hanging off their rearview mirror before you call in and complain. I know that people like you usually turn red with your veins bulging out of your neck whenever you encounter something you don’t like, then don’t take the next logical step in addressing a problem. Maybe if you take that next step you’d find you’re judging people prematurely.

Once again, “Delco Dad” shows how clueless he is. Of course, they’re going to blame the teachers for going on strike because it puts so-called hardships on families. Well, when I was a kid, my mother didn’t have to work so if teachers went on strike my mother was there to watch us.
