Celebrities to get shot at special quiz competition
To commemorate the 70th Anniversary of Delco Hi-Q, the nation’s oldest continuous academic quiz competition, FMFCU Partners in Education and Delaware County Intermediate Unit are kicking off the milestone season with Celebrity Hi-Q, a fun competition featuring local celebrities and a team of current Hi-Q All Stars.
Neumann University is hosting the event in their Bruder Life Center Nov.14, beginning with a meet & greet reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by opening remarks at 6:30 p.m. General admission seating is limited and available through online registration for a $10 donation to Partners in Education.
Featured celebrities include: Sue Serio, Fox29; Rob Ellis, Comcast SportsNet; Andie Summers, 92.5 XTU; CaseyBoy, WMMR; John Brazer, Philadelphia Phillies; Tom Burgoyne, Phillie Phanatic’s Best Friend; Frank Olivieri, Pat’s King of Steaks; Michael Curran, President, Crozer- Chester Medical Center; Theresa Murtagh, Civic Leader & Hi-Q Alum; Dr. Chris Domes, Neumann University President.

Delco Hi-Q is a partnership between Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU) and FMFCU Partners in Education. FMFCU Vice President Rick Durante serves as Director, FMFCU Foundation & Events Specialist Danielle Griffin is Hi-Q Coordinator, and DCIU’s Dave Bramble is the production engineer.
