Jack Rockenbach, 86 of Clifton Heights died on October 11, 2017 at Lankenau Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born to James and Mary (O’Donnell) Rockenbach and raised in Roxborough, Jack was a proud Korean War Veteran who courageous­ly served his country as an Airman in the US Navy attached to VPN 741 NAS Jacksonvil­le Fla.

Jack retired from GMAC as a finance supervisor after nearly thirty years of service. He was a proud Mason, being a member of the Palestine Roxborough Lodge 135 and rising to the level of 32nd degree like his father before him. Jack recently left his present position as a jailer for the Clifton Heights Police Department for nearly twenty five years to care for and be with his wife Betty.

Jack was married to Betty (Teeney) Rockenbach and recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversar­y. Together they raised three boys, Jack (Dawn Durkin), Bobby (Sue McMenamin) and Tim (Denise Martino). Jack also loved the company of his ten grandchild­ren John, Rachel, Bobby, Alison, Elizabeth, Lauren, Timmy, Shawn, Emily and Ryan Jack was predecease­d by his siblings William Tucker, Jim Rockenbach, Eleanor Kappler, and Joan Bongard.

Viewing: Sunday, 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Williams Lombardo Funeral Home 33 W. Baltimore Ave. Clifton Heights and Monday, 10:00 am at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 1116 E. Lancaster Ave. Rosemont, PA 19010 .

Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, 11:00 am Church of the Good Shepherd.

Interment: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
