Jack Rock­en­bach, 86 of Clifton Heights died on Oc­to­ber 11, 2017 at Lanke­nau Hos­pi­tal sur­rounded by his lov­ing fam­ily.

Born to James and Mary (O’Don­nell) Rock­en­bach and raised in Roxbor­ough, Jack was a proud Korean War Veteran who coura­geously served his coun­try as an Air­man in the US Navy at­tached to VPN 741 NAS Jack­sonville Fla.

Jack re­tired from GMAC as a fi­nance su­per­vi­sor af­ter nearly thirty years of ser­vice. He was a proud Ma­son, be­ing a mem­ber of the Pales­tine Roxbor­ough Lodge 135 and ris­ing to the level of 32nd de­gree like his fa­ther be­fore him. Jack re­cently left his present po­si­tion as a jailer for the Clifton Heights Po­lice De­part­ment for nearly twenty five years to care for and be with his wife Betty.

Jack was mar­ried to Betty (Teeney) Rock­en­bach and re­cently cel­e­brated their 60th wedding an­niver­sary. To­gether they raised three boys, Jack (Dawn Durkin), Bobby (Sue McMe­namin) and Tim (Denise Martino). Jack also loved the com­pany of his ten grand­chil­dren John, Rachel, Bobby, Ali­son, El­iz­a­beth, Lau­ren, Timmy, Shawn, Emily and Ryan Jack was pre­de­ceased by his sib­lings Wil­liam Tucker, Jim Rock­en­bach, Eleanor Kap­pler, and Joan Bon­gard.

Mass of Chris­tian Burial: Mon­day, 11:00 am Church of the Good Shep­herd.

In­ter­ment: SS. Peter and Paul Ceme­tery.
