COLLINGDALE » Monsignor Bonner-Archbishop Prendergast Friars Football Boosters hold a Designer Bag Bingo Fundraiser at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Collingdale Fire Hall, 510 Clifton Ave. Doors open at 6.
Cost is $30 in advance, $35 at the door, and includes 10 rounds of Bingo and a chance at great door prizes. Raffles, 50/50 tickets and more are available for purchase. The event bring-your-own drinks, snacks, etc.

Hear jazz group in downtown Chester

Jazspir (pronounced “Jasper”), formed in 2004 by keyboardist the Rev. Jerry Martin, is a seven-piece classic and Christian jazz band, featuring three-piece rhythm section of drums, bass and keyboard, and a four-piece horn section of trumpet, two tenor saxes and trombone. Its name is a combination of the words “jazz” and “spiritual.”

Neumann University hosts the event in their Bruder Life Center on Tuesday, Nov. 14, beginning with a meet and greet reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by opening remarks at 6:30.
