JOE IS THE MAN
I would like to recognize Joe, the custodian at the Community YMCA in Lansdowne, for the excellent job he does in keeping the men’s locker room clean. He sweeps and mops the floors, picks up trash left behind by members, and last week I saw him wiping down the walls in the shower area. I wish other YMCA men’s locker rooms could be as clean. Thank you, Joe.
DO IT YOURSELF
I’m watching the commercials from Party City, Walmart and whoever else, showing kids ordering costumes online and picking up in the store. You know what I find sad? I remember when I was young, half the excitement and fun of Halloween was making your own costume – coming up with an idea, figuring out how you could do it. That part of Halloween is now non-existent. I know people are busy, but you can’t spend a few hours with your children making a costume? Plus, the kids probably won’t want that – they have to have the fanciest, most expensive costume from a store. Oh well, there goes all the real fun of Halloween.
SWARTHMORE — IT FIGURES
I’ve noticed that the political signs up only have the same three names on dark blue signs ... Whelan, Peretti and White. And occasionally I’d see a green sign with Donahue. I was beginning to think they were running unopposed. But then I drove through Swarthmore and a saw light blue signs with names I’ve never heard of. I should have known to check Swarthmore.

Sober housing does not belong in residential areas. If one of those people decide to go back on drugs and alcohol, everybody in the area is in serious danger. They need these houses put out in country areas where there isn’t a dense residential population around with children out playing. Residential areas are for families.

I see all the politicians were down at the boat ramp behind the soccer stadium. They were hoping the lure Amazon down there to build a new building. I was wondering if maybe Jeff Bezos could floating boat dock down at the boat ramp. THE CRAB MAN

Trump says he can’t support the bill sponsored by Patty Murray and Lamar Alexander because it’s a giveaway to insurance companies, when actually the bill specifies that insurance companies can’t pocket any money from it – another lie from Trump. You know what would really surprise me? If Trump ever told the truth. That would be a surprise.
WHAT A WASTE
Hillary Clinton spent $1.2 billion on her drive for the presidency and she failed. All donated money from big rich fat cats. What did Trump spend? Half of that. That’s what I think to see – people who don’t waste their money, unlike Hillary Clinton. BOOTHWYN

Trump keeps mentioning how everyone is talking about what a great job his administration has done and is doing in Puerto Rico, when in fact the only two people saying what a great job the administration is doing is him and Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who is his mouth piece. Everyone else is universally condemning his administration’s handling of the Puerto Rican crisis. And Trump supporters don’t count, because these people have possibly one active brain cell among the whole lot of them.

UNION BUSTERS, PLAIN AND SIMPLE
“Whatever Fits” is another arrogant rightwinger who says the majority of people of Pennsylvania want state stores privatized, and that’s not true. Of course a big majority of right-wingers like “Whatever Fits” wants to privatize because they want to bust unions. And these people are so stupid they think that if they do get privatized, prices is going to come down, and they’re not. Prices will actually probably go up.
