Marianne Kathleen Gold (nee Meltz)

Marianne Kathleen Gold (nee Meltz), age 50 of Westbrook Park, PA. died on October 21, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Marianne was a graduate of Cardinal O’Hara High School Springfield, PA. and she had a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Neumann University, Aston, PA. After obtaining her RN, she worked for a number of years at Lankenau Medical Center and Greater Philadelphia Health Action. She was the daughter of the late Harold J. Meltz.

Marianne loved spending time in The Wildwoods, shopping trips and traveling when her health permitted, time spent with family and friends, and decorating for holidays. Her favorite day was Halloween, which was also her birthday. She also loved her Phillies and Eagles.

She is survived by her husband Timothy Gold, her mother Bernadette (High) Meltz, her Aunt and Uncle Dolores and Mac Squires, her Aunt and Godmother Serena White, two nephews and a number of cousins with whom she was extremely close.

Family, friends and sisters of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Trinity, Division 4 may call on Friday Oct. 27, 2017 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Springfield Rd. and Bishop Ave., Springfield, PA., immediately followed by her funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Internment is private.
