I-95 overnight closures
PennDOT announces Interstate 95 motorists will encounter intermittent single and double lane closures in both directions between the Route 491 (Naamans Road) and Bartram Avenue interchanges on Monday, Oct. 30, through Saturday, Nov. 4, from 8 p.m.-5 a.m. the following morning for sign maintenance.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time on I-95 when traveling through the work area. The contractor’s schedule is weather dependent.
Under this regional improvement project, PennDOT is repairing large sign structures in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties. The project is expected to be completed in May 2018.
Carr & Duff Inc., of Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on the $2,122,200 project, which is financed with 100 percent federal funds.

Paving on Route 3
Lane restrictions are scheduled in both directions on Eagle Road/Glendale Road between Springfield Road and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Springfield, Haverford and Marple townships, on Sunday, Oct. 29, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 7 p.m.-5 a.m. for milling and paving as part of an improvement project to repair and resurface 10 miles of state highway in Delaware County.
Additional state highway scheduled for resurfacing under this contract include: Wayne Avenue from Conestoga Road to just north of Woodsworth Court in
Radnor Township.
322 work continues
CONCORD » Lane closures are scheduled next week on U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) from U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) to just east of Clayton Park Drive from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30-Friday, Nov. 3 and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4. Flaggers will direct an alternating single lane of traffic on U.S. 322 through various work areas along the 2.6mile construction zone.
Motorists should expect delays on U.S. 322 and on northbound U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) approaching U.S. 322.
