Swiss Farms will celebrate grand re-opening of Havertown location
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP » Swiss Farms, 820 N. Eagle Rd., Havertown, has a lot to celebrate and the team there hopes the community will join the party this Saturday, Nov. 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In July of 2016, a severe wind storm ripped through Delaware County, leaving thousands without power and Swiss Farms Havertown, without its iconic silo. Designed by Linn Architects of Media, the newly refurbished Swiss Farms was refreshed and brought back to life by the Swiss Farms maintenance team, who have worked feverishly rebuilding the community’s favorite drive-through grocery store, getting it ready for Saturday’s grand re-opening.
On Saturday, Swiss Farms in Havertown will showcase its recent renovations and celebrate the occasion with free hotdogs, freshly prepared Swiss Farms Philly Cheesesteak Dip, Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese, chips, fresh hoagie trays, Swiss Tea Cooler, Lemonade, and much more.
Additionally, the grand reopening will offer lots of fun for the whole family. Customers can spin the wheel for a chance to take home special prizes. Cruiser, the rooster mascot, will be in attendance, taking photos and handing out coupons to everyone. Also in attendance, 92.5 XTU Philadelphia’s Country Radio Station with morning show host Andie Summers will provide music, take photos and give out freebies from 12 noon-2 p.m.
