Color Run: Girl Scout Troop #1797 is hosting a Community 5K Color Run on Saturday, Nov. 4 at Amity Community Park, 1946 Weavertown Road, Douglassville. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon with registration beginning at 8 a.m. This troop is hoping to raise enough money to travel to Savannah, Georgia (the birthplace of Girl Scouts) this summer. The event features vendors, bake sale, and a DJ. Af ter the event a Little Red Mailbox dedication is planned.

All together: Run for Immigrant Rights, a 5K run and 2K walk to benefit the Pennsylvania Immigration & Citizenship Coalition, takes place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 4 at Reformed Church of the Ascension, 1700 W. Main St., Norristown. Also going on will

Barks Against Cancer: On Nov. 4 the American Cancer Society invites dogs and their human families to Montgomery County Barks Back Against Cancer at Heuser Park. Activities include a onemile walk, a doggy costume contest and other games, and a goody bag for each participating pooch. There will also be food trucks, vendor tables and dog-themed raffle pack- ages. Registration is $25. The park is at 694 W. Beidler Road, Upper Merion. Visit www.main.acsevents.org/mcbb.
Project Libertad: Help end sex trafficking during Strides Save Lives 5K Run/Walk. The event is set for Saturday, Nov. 11 at Rose Tree Park, 1671 N. Providence Road, Media.
