Barbara Pryor Edmonson

July 24, 1940 November 4, 2017 Barbara Pryor Edmonson, age 77, of Twin Oaks, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2017 at home in Oldsmar, Florida.

Barbara was born in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1940 to Thomas and Bertha Hargrave. She was a product of the Upper ChiChester school system and attended Widener University and Neumann College. She worked for Scott Paper Company for more than 25 years, where she met her husband, Steve Edmonson, to whom she was married for 31 years.

Barbara was a wonderful mother to two sons and four step children.

Relocating with her husband’s job assignments, Barbara lived in many places throughout the United States. Her artistic talent was apparent in the beauty of every home she lived in. She made many friends and touched many lives, but none more than her loving family. In her last days Barbara said, “I’ve lived a blessed life,” and her many friends had the wonderful pleasure of sharing it with her. Her big heart, beautiful smile and unconditional love and support will be sorely missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and loving adopted parents Anna and Curtis Thompson.

Those whose lives have been touched by Barbara are invited to celebrate her life at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 101 Washington Avenue in Twin Oaks, Pennsylvania, on November 14th at 11:00 AM.
