THANK THE VETERANS

I hope on Veterans Day that everyone thanked any veteran they saw for their service, and do so any day, for that matter. We live the way we do because of the people that fought for our country. So please, thank a veteran.

ANYONE BUT TRUMP

I don’t know what hippie planet “Gerrie From Wallingford” lives on, but people were in there voting against property taxes and Trump, not for any of the Democratic candidates. They could have nominated a bunch of “Bernie 2016” bumper stickers and won.

THE RICH WIN AGAIN

Hi, hope the people who voted to get rid of rid of property tax don’t think the replacement will benefit the middle class. You know it’s going benefit the rich. JEANETTE G.

STILL MORE TAXES

A question to our leaders: If we are not allowed to deduct the local taxes we pay from our income tax, doesn’t that mean there are four taxes being placed on the same monies that we earn? Isn’t there a law against that?

LEADER OF THE PACK

In China, Trump admitted that China engages in unfair trade practices. But does he blame China for this? No, he blames former presidents of our country for this. He is a complete idiot. It’s no wonder that his supporters are morons. They take all their cues from him.

SIGN OUT

Hey, the elections over, politicians. Please take down all your signs that you have out there. Especially, by the by the Blue Route on Baltimore Pike, it looks awful. REMOVE THEM!

ECONOMY KILLERS

Right-wingers who always talk about Democrats being fiscally irresponsible are a prime example of why people call them stupid. When Ronald Reagan became president, the United States was the world’s biggest lender. By the time he left office eight years later, we had become the world’s biggest borrower. Bill Clinton left office with a balanced budget and a surplus. It took Bush and the Republicans exactly three months to destroy all that. Barack Obama took over an economy that was in shambles and now that the economy is humming along, the Republicans want a tax cut which is going to add $1.5 trillion to the deficit. So who are the people who are actually fiscally irresponsible?

TIME FOR A FIX

These politicians — they get elected and they’re people that work for us. We paid them and they are supposed to operate in a way that suits the majority, not the minority of special interests. They’re supposed to look out for us and operate in our best interest. It’s all lies, telling us they’re us they’re talking care of us while they take everything we own. Something’s wrong with our system and the system needs to be fixed FRUSTRATED CITIZEN

THIS DOES NOT COMPUTE

In their Sound Off, “One Who Knows” mentions that “this is another thing I’m going to have put on my computer.” Of course they’re going to say this stuff on the Internet, because it’s nothing but a dumping ground for stupid people and wackos like “One Who Knows.”

WEATHER OR NOT

I just realized how irrelevant some of these weather forecasts are. They all give the temperatures all of the stations in Bismarck, N.D., or International Falls. I don’t see that that is that all relevant to us here.It just seems like a total joke – totally and absolutely irrelevant.

WHAT ABOUT HILLARY?

As for me being a rightwinger, this caller got it wrong again. Like Democrats, you don’t understand, don’t get it. If you knew me or knew my family, you’d know I’m not right-winger. I just don’t like politicians and their lies. Hillary Clinton is in the news every day lying about everything, so why not talk about her? She’s been lying for the last eight years, on top of a whole career filled with lies. I don’t vote for criminals, socialists, or communists, so that kind of leaves me not voting for many Democrats.
