James Thomas Bowen, Jr.

James Thomas Bowen, Jr. of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on November 8, 2017.

Beloved son of James T. Bowen Sr and Jean Herr Bowen. Devoted brother Stephen A. Bowen (Kelly Farley), Jeffrey W. Bowen, Peter R. Bowen. Nephew to Arnold Bowen III, Peter F. Bowen, Robert J. Bowen, F. William Herr III (Theresa Downey) and Marilyn L. Herr. Loving Uncle to niece, Catherine Jean Bowen. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

Jim was born and raised in Newtown Square PA. He is an active member of Bowen Incorporated – General Contractors.

Jim had many interests and hobbies which included computer security, welding, climbing, and engine repairs.

Jim will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Jim was the epitome of tenacity, veraciousness and had a rich, full life. He devoted his life to caring for his family and friends.

There will be visitation on Friday November 17th from 10 AM till 11 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Mass at 11 AM at St Anastasia’s Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square PA 19073

Interment will be at St Peter and Paul Cemetery immediately after the Mass.
