NORWOOD » Norwood Library, 513 Welcome Ave., welcomes children ages 2-3 for Toddler Storytime on Thursdays Nov. 9 and 16 at 10 a.m. The library holds Preschool Connection­s at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14. Parents can bring their children ages 3-5 to the library for stories, activities, and lots of fun.

For older kids grades K-5, come and enjoy afternoon fun on Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. at Kids Klub. American Girl Doll Club invites grades K-5 and any type of their special doll friend on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 3:45 p.m. for activities highlighti­ng Native American culture in early America. The Norwood Sister Circle presents the movie “The Help” on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. at the library. “The Help” is based on the New York Times best seller of the same name by Kathryn Stockett and stars Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Bryce Dallas Howard. The movie is an inspiratio­nal,

courageous and empowering story about extraordin­ary women in the 1960’s South who built an unlikely friendship that puts them all at risk.

The Norwood Sister Circle, formed in March of 2015, is a group is women coming together to uplift, inform, empower, inspire, and raise

awareness of women’s issues at home and around the world. The group meets monthly at the library. For informatio­n, call or visit the library.
