Edwin F. McDaniel

Edwin F. McDaniel, age 90, of Aldan, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Taylor Hospice Residence. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Edwin and Rosalie (nee Clark) McDaniel.

Mr. McDaniel was a graduate of John Bartram High School and was both a U.S. Army and U.S. Navy veteran who served in both WWII and Korea. He was a member of Lansdowne Lodge No. 711 F & A M.

He was an avid bowler who also was a softball pitcher in his youth. He enjoyed traveling, had a great sense of humor, and was a good provider for all of his loved ones.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Doris M. McDaniel, in 2014.

He is survived by his children, Claire Pederson, Ed (Maggie), Beth McCarrick (Alan), Mark (Kyle), and Matt (Laurie). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and his fiancee, Alberta Lutz.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Service 3:30 p.m. at Aldan Union Church, 7 E. Providence Road, Aldan, PA 19018.
