Joseph S. Mini, Sr., 69 of Fol­som, died Novem­ber 13, 2017 at his home sur­rounded by fam­ily.

Born in Philadel­phia, son of the late Sal­va­tore A. and Vir­ginia E. (Christaldi) Mini, Sr., he lived in Darby be­fore mov­ing to his late res­i­dence 20 years ago.

Joe at­tended South Philadel­phia High School and grad­u­ated from the Philadel­phia Wire­less Trade School. He re­tired from the Philadel­phia Naval Ship­yard in 1994 and had pre­vi­ously worked at the Gen­eral Elec­tric Switch Gear Plant in South­west Philadel­phia. Joe was a mem­ber of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church and was a for­mer vol­un­teer for Darby Fire Pa­trol #2 and the Col­wyn Fire Com­pany (Sta­tion 10).

Joe loved elec­tron­ics and was a Mr. Fix-it but most im­por­tant was his de­vo­tion to his fam­ily, es­pe­cially his cher­ished grand­chil­dren.

He was brother of the late An­thony M. Mini and Carol Pas­cucci.

Joe was lov­ing hus­band of Cather­ine A. (Gai­ley) Mini, de­voted fa­ther to Michelle A. (Mini) Ciancaglione (David), Joseph S, Jr. (Nancy), Robert D. (Meaghan) and Do­minic A. (Heather) Mini, brother of An­gelina, Sal­va­tore A., Jr. (Denise) and Robert D. Mini and Linda DiLeo (John), nephew of An­thony Mini (Carmela), also 13 grand­chil­dren, a great-grand­daugh­ter and soon to be great-grand­son, and many nieces and neph­ews.
