Joseph S. Mini, Sr.

Joseph S. Mini, Sr., 69 of Folsom, died November 13, 2017 at his home surrounded by family.

Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Salvatore A. and Virginia E. (Christaldi) Mini, Sr., he lived in Darby before moving to his late residence 20 years ago.

Joe attended South Philadelphia High School and graduated from the Philadelphia Wireless Trade School. He retired from the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard in 1994 and had previously worked at the General Electric Switch Gear Plant in Southwest Philadelphia. Joe was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church and was a former volunteer for Darby Fire Patrol #2 and the Colwyn Fire Company (Station 10).

Joe loved electronics and was a Mr. Fix-it but most important was his devotion to his family, especially his cherished grandchildren.

He was brother of the late Anthony M. Mini and Carol Pascucci.

Joe was loving husband of Catherine A. (Gailey) Mini, devoted father to Michelle A. (Mini) Ciancaglione (David), Joseph S, Jr. (Nancy), Robert D. (Meaghan) and Dominic A. (Heather) Mini, brother of Angelina, Salvatore A., Jr. (Denise) and Robert D. Mini and Linda DiLeo (John), nephew of Anthony Mini (Carmela), also 13 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and soon to be great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation 8:30 to 9:45 AM Saturday at the WhiteLuttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA.

Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM Saturday at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave. Milmont Park, PA. Burial: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery
