Thomas J. Basquill, 65, of Ridley Twp., loving husband, father, grandfathe­r, brother and uncle, passed away at home on November 17, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Darby, he was the son of the late John Francis and Margaret Doyle Basquill and was a lifelong resident of Delaware County.

Thomas was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1970 and Widener University, class of 1976, where he earned a BA in History. Thomas was employed in the Insurance Industry for 42 years and was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church.

He loved being a husband, father and was devoted to enriching the lives around him. His favorite part of the day was dinner, where he loved talking about the day’s events and Disney trivia with his family at the table. He set out to be the best husband and father he could be and fell nothing short of perfection. He enjoyed Disney vacations with his family, date night with Jackie and watching the Eagles. His dedication, commitment and love of his family were his top priority in life.

He was the loving husband of Jacqueline “Jackie” A. Lynch Basquill, his wife of 38 years; devoted father to Catherine Mary Basquill White (Kyle), Michael Liam Basquill and John Philip Basquill; cherished grandfathe­r to Desmond Kyle White; and brother to John J. Basquill.

Visitation: 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, November 21, 2017 and 8:15-9:15 AM Wednesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, PA 19033.

Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
