WHAT A TURKEY
Was anyone else expecting Trump to turn the presidential turkey pardon into some kind of gladiatorial combat thing where he would have the crowd give the turkey a thumbs up or down on whether it gets pardoned? JUST CURIOUS
LOOKING FOR HELP
We hear all about mothers-to-be taking drugs and then the child suffers with addiction. But what about the children that have no control over being sick and the parents have no control over it? Who has to pay the bills? The parents or the insurance. Then when the insurance runs out, the parents are supposed to pay the rest. So my child had no cause to be sick with cancer, but it happened. It’s not my child’s fault either that they got sick. Where are the programs for children like mine?
HEAVEN AND HELL
As I’m flipping through the Times on Tuesday morning, there’s a very eerie symmetry in the obituary section: On one side is the obituary for the one of the most evil man in history, Charles Manson, who passed away on Sunday. On the facing page, and also passing away on Sunday, was Della Reese, who played in angel on TV. Is it a coincidence that a devil and angel are facing each other?
TRUMP’S ALL WET
“Golf” is upset that the media is supposedly making an issue at the Trump drinking water at a press conference. Well, when Marco Rubio gave the Republicans respond to one of Obama’s State of the Union addresses and he had to drink water twice, Trump did nothing but criticize him for this. So Trump opened the door for this, but you, being someone who obviously doesn’t pay attention, wouldn’t know that.
STICK WITH CHESTER
In the Sunday Times, Aqua America had a fullpage ad saying “Flowing water, frozen rates.” So where are they going to freeze the rates for 10 years: At rates to be determined or at the rates customers are already paying? They don’t say. I don’t want to sell out to Aqua America. I want to stick with Chester Water Authority. They have great employees, they have delivered water to me for the last 50 years and I vote that we stay with Chester Water.
ANYONE BUT A DEM
I find it quite amazing that I turn on the TV and what am I hearing? Another liberal Democrat who put out over $27 million in taxpayers’ money to keep people quiet. And everybody’s got the nerve to talk about Roy Moore. Well, maybe the president is right: What we don’t need in this country is a bunch of liberal Democrats destroying this it like they did for eight years of the Obama administration.
WHO ELECTED HER?
There was a picture in the Times of Ivanka Trump in Bayville, N.J., once again lying about the Republican tax plan. She said it would ease burdens on taxpayers. If she means easing the burdens on the top 1 percent, she’s absolutely correct. But for regular people, it’s not going to ease their tax burden at all.
WORST PRESIDENT EVER
Barack Obama seems like a nice guy, but he was by far the worst president we’ve ever had, and the most cowardly present we’ve ever had. TRUMP 2020
HILL OF BEANS
I was just reading a story on the Internet about how Hillary doesn’t think she should be investigated about the uranium deal which made her $145 million. She said if the DOJ does, it’s an abuse of power and it’s a disastrous step in politicizing the DOJ. Oh yeah, and she had no problem with the year-long investigation into Trump and the Russian collusion.
