Michaele C. McLoughlin

Michaele C. McLoughlin, 74, of Wilmington, DE died November 22, 2017 at her home. Born in Chester, daughter of the late Thomas I. and Margaret Pratt McLoughlin, she lived in Media before moving to her last residence in 1981.

Michaele was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, class of 1971, and attended the University of Delaware. She was last employed as an accountant at H & R Block for 10 years, retiring in 2005 and was previously a supervisor in the E.I. DuPont Company Finance Department for 30 years.

Michaele was a member of St. Mary Magdalen R.C. Church in Wilmington, DE and loved reading, politics, Elvis and cats but important was her devotion to her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her brother Blaise A. McLoughlin.

Michaele is survived by her siblings Maryann T. O’Donnell (Michael), Megan R., Deirdre I. and Christopher J. (Marie) McLoughlin, her caregiver for the past twelve years Minodora Davenport, her cat “Cody” her faithful friend, as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Thursday at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA 19342 where friends may call from 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Burial in the adjoining church cemetery.
