Duane Kevin Sullender

Duane Kevin Sullender of Langhorne, PA, formerly of SW Philadelphia and Secane, PA, passed away surrounded by his family on December 3, 2017 at the age of 57.

Duane is predeceased by his parents Bill and Dolly Sullender, his brother Gregg S. Sullender and his sister and brother-in-law Judith and Fred Bauer.

He is survived by his son, Duane William Sullender, and was the beloved PopPop of Thomas William Sullender. He is survived by his loving Fiancé, Marian Riley-Whiteside and his former wife Julia Sullender. He was the loving brother of Bill Sullender (Cheri) and Cheryl (Ed) McGee and his sister-in-law Maureen Sullender (nee Kelly). He was the dear uncle of his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by cousins, dear friends and co–workers.

Duane was a dedicated employee for the Steamfitters Local 420 Training Center since 1989. He was an avid fisherman and found his favorite fishing hole wherever he traveled. He was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers fan.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation from 9:00 am – 10:45 am on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA, followed by his service at 11:00 am. Int. Private.
