Erna K. Murray

Erna K. Murray, 94, of Aston died December 15, 2017 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.

Born in Uffenheim, Germany, she came to the United States in 1950. Erna was the daughter of the late Erhard and Helena Klammer Feghelm and resided in Chester before moving to her late residence in 1977.

Erna was employed by Boscov’s as a seamstress and previously worked for Pomeroy’s. She was a volunteer with charities with block collections and was devoted to her faith and family. Erna loved to bake, sing and music but most important was family being together.

Erna was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Charles E. Murray, who died January 6, 2014; her daughters, Linda M. Derrickson and Sharon T. Hurst; her grandsons, Derron Derrickson, Timothy Derrickson; and her great grandson, Jeffrey Sherer.

Survivors: mother of Heide K. Williamson; sister of Elli McDonald; also, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass: 12:00 Noon Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014, where friends may call after 11:00 AM
