Edna E. Graham (nee Bell), 88, of Newtown Square, PA, died December 31, 2017 at Bryn Mawr Hospital after suffering a stroke.

Edna was born in Chester in 1929. She later lived in Collingdal­e and Primos, before moving to Holly House in Media. She most recently resided with her daughter in Newtown Square.

Edna attended the Collingdal­e Schools, was involved in cheerleadi­ng and choir, where she met her husband, A. Kerr Graham. They were married for 57 years before his sudden passing in 2004.

As a young woman, besides having the full-time job of raising six children, she was very active in her church. She attended Tully Memorial Presbyteri­an Church from 1958 to 1980, singing in the choir and many shows, participat­ing in the women’s circle and playing handbells. She joined Covenant United Methodist Church of Springfiel­d in 1981 and participat­ed in many activities there, including Chancel Choir, women’s circle, and the Appalachia­n Service Project.

Her eldest son, Kerry Graham, very recently preceded her in death.

Survivors are JoAnn (Dan) Miller; Kevin Graham; Barbara Bunting; Jeffrey (Patti) Graham; Paul (Anessa) Graham; 16 grandchild­ren and 10 great-grandchild­ren. She is also survived by her brothers, Joseph and James Bell, and a sister, Marci DeBellis.

Services will be held at Covenant United Methodist Church, 212 W. Springfiel­d Road, Springfiel­d, PA on Saturday, January 6, 2018, with Calling Hours beginning 10 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11 AM to celebrate Edna’s life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Covenant United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 212 W. Springfiel­d Road, Springfiel­d, PA 19064.
