Angie S. (Stinsman) Young, 92, of Ridley Park, died December 31, 2017 at her home.

Born in Philadelph­ia, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Angie Clifford Stinsman. She lived in Darby before moving to her late residence in 1954.

Angie was a graduate of John Bartram High School, class of 1943, and was member of the Ridley Park Presbyteri­an Church where she volunteere­d on many committees and wrote “Angie’s Corner” for the weekly bulletin. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting and needlepoin­t sewing. Angie and Bill loved to travel, a member of the over 55 club; visiting 45 of the United States and many cruises.

Angie was predecease­d by her sister, Dorothy Stinsman.

She was the wife of William J. Young, her husband of 69 years; mother of William J. Young, Jr. (Lori), Sandy Martino (Mark), Rob W. Young (Terry) and Debbie Young; sister of Walter “Bud” Stinsman (late Joan) and Richard “Rick” Stinsman (Barbara); also survived by five grandchild­ren, four great grandchild­ren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Ridley Park Presbyteri­an Church, 300 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 AM.
