Marlene Jaeschke

Marlene Jaeschke, 74, of Folsom, Pa., passed peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Born October 16, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Michael Lamson and the late Marie Cooklin.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cracking jokes and being a prankster. She loved fishing, picking crabs and going to the casinos. She was a loving wife but sometimes was a ballbreaker. She was also a wonderful grandmother who took care of her grandkids in so many ways.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William Harrison Jaeschke, Sr.; son, William Harrison Jaeschke, Jr.; daughter, Barbara Jaeschke; daughterin-law, Joanne Krause; four grandchildren, Jade, William III, Jordan, and Joey; seven great-grandchildren; sister Marie Nickel; sister-in-law Bonnie Jaeschke; brotherin-law William Weise; nieces and nephews and many friends. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018, at 11 A.M. at the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, in Norwood, Pa. 19074. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 A.M to 11 A.M. at the funeral home. Her burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions made in her memory to Shriners Hospital for Children, 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19140 would be appreciated by her family.
