No. 1 UConn rolls over Wichita State by 81 to go 24-0

HARTFORD, CONN. » Napheesa Collier scored 26 points and Katie Lou Samuelson added 22 to lead UConn to a 124-43 rout of Wichita State on Saturday, for the second-most lopsided win in Huskies’ history.

The 124 points was two shy of the program record, which was set against Providence in 1998.

Gabby Williams added 17 points, Azura Stevens 16 and Kia Nurse 14 for the Huskies (24-0, 12-0 American), who won straight home game.

Rangie Bassard had 20 points Wichita State (10-16, 5-7 American). (3) BAYLOR 83, (24) TCU 63 » Kalani Brown scored 23 points, Lauren Cox had another double-double and Baylor (23-1, 13-0 Big 12) won its 20th game in a row.

Cox had 16 points and 11 rebounds for her ninth double-double this season, fifth in Big 12 play. Jayde Woods had 14 points for TCU (16-8, 7-6) their to 75th lead (6) TEXAS 76, KANSAS STATE 54» Brooke McCarty scored 13 of her 17 points in the pivotal third quarter and Texas (20-4, 11-2 Big 12) beat Kansas State (13-12, 5-9)

McCarty, a senior and reigning Big 12 player of the year, scored 10 points in a 1:49 span. (20) GREEN BAY 65, MILWAUKEE 36 » Allie LeClaire scored 16 points, Jessica Lindstrom added 13 and Green Bay (22-2, 12-1 Horizon League) beat Milwaukee (17-8, 8-5) for its 11th straight win.

LeClaire was 6 of 9 from the field with two 3-pointers and had five assists and three rebounds. Lindstrom was 5 of 8 from 3, with five rebounds and four assists. (22) OKLAHOMA STATE 81, IOWA STATE 73 » Kaylee Jensen scored 16 straight points in the fourth quarter for Oklahoma State (18-6, 9-4 Big 12) and finished with a careerhigh 35.

Jensen steadied Oklahoma State after Iowa State (10-14, 4-9) cut a 26-point deficit late in the second quarter to two points with a 30-12 third quarter.
